Volunteer Orientation
The orientation will provide a brief history of the organization and a better understanding of the volunteer opportunities that are available. Participants will be given the opportunity to experience a mini Art4Healing® workshop. No art experience necessary! Please wear clothing appropriate for painting.

Workshop Assistant
Workshop assistants are needed for day, evening and weekend hours. Volunteers can help with a single 3-hour workshop, or sign up to help with a workshop series. You will receive a weekly update of volunteers opportunities with location and class times (varied). A current email address is required.
Responsibilities:
Assist with set-up & clean-up for workshops.
Support facilitator and participants by providing materials throughout the workshop
Note: Volunteers participate in the workshop only as support for the trained facilitator leading the class.
Requirements:
Attend a volunteer orientation.
Due to the nature of our work, all workshop assistants are required to complete Level One Facilitator Training in order to learn the basis of our method. Only Level Two facilitators to facilitate an Art for Healing Workshop. Please see our training page for more information will be permitted.
Office Help
We rely on volunteers to help us with office projects including bulk mailings, gift wrapping for fundraising events and general organization when needed. Periodic emails are sent regarding volunteer opportunities to all volunteers who have attended a volunteer orientation.
Fundraising
We host several fundraising events throughout the year that are made successful by the help of our volunteers. Once you have attended volunteer orientation, you can help us in several ways:
Help gather auction items that raise money during our event.
Distribute invitations to the community.
Assist during the event with check-in and check-out, greeting and general help throughout the evening.
