Workshops Art & Creativity for Healing is proud to bring you a wide variety of classes, please see our schedule below. To register for any of the following classes, please go to our WORKSHOP REGISTRATION FORM. All workshops are led by certified Art for Healing facilitators. Although workshops are therapeutic, we are not art therapists. Participants are free to create and express without facilitator interpretation.

ADULT CLASSES Expressing Feelings with Color This monthly 3-hour workshop teaches you how to express with color, using the Zagon Method of Art for Healing. Participants will process their feelings on canvas while learning about color, composition and other elements of art. Fee: $55, includes art materials. Sunday, March 25, 2:00-5:00PM Sunday, April 29, 2:00-5:00PM Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Art for Healing Workshop Series These workshop series will allow you to discover how to communicate your emotions and heal stress through a variety of mediums, using a variety of mediums, including acrylic painting, collage and watercolor. Beginner – 7:00-9:00PM for 4 weeks Tuesdays, April 17th, 24th, May 1st, and May 8th Intermediate- 7:00-9:00PM for 4 weeks Thursdays, February 8th, 15th, 22nd, and March 1st Advanced- 7:00-9:00PM for 4 weeks Thursdays, March 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 19th Art for Renewal and Stress Management This 3-hour workshop is designed for business professionals, using color to identify and process stress. This is a fun evening ideal for those trying to balance life and work in today’s fast-paced world. Participation in an Expressing Feelings with Color workshop is recommended but not required. Fee: $55, includes art materials. Sunday, April 22, 2:00-5:00PM Paint your Way to Inner Peace This ½ day workshop is a creative and soothing way to express personal feelings through abstract art. Saturday, April 7, 9:00-12:00PM Painting Prayer In this 3-hour workshop you will learn to pray with paint using scriptures and music, ideal for those seeking clarity of calling and direction in life. Saturday, March 24, 2006 9:00-12:00PM KIDS & TEEN CLASSES Teen Anger Management This monthly 3-hour workshop is designed to help kids communicate feelings about anger, using color to express what makes them angry, how they express anger and how they feel about the consequences. Fee: $55, includes all art materials. Sunday, June 10th, 2:00-5:00PM ART FOR HEALING LIFE WORKSHOP SERIES Art for Healing provides workshop series to deal with emotions surrounding specific life stresses for both children and adults. These series are designed to take participants through their emotions, and teach them methods of looking at their stress, and promotes healing through color and expression. EXPERIMENTING IN COLLAGE~Taught by Andi Mandel Location: Art & Creativity for Healing Studio Saturday, April 28th, 9:00AM-4:00PM Cost: $95.00 TEACHER'S WORKSHOP Special Teacher's Workshop Art & Creativity for Healing is happy to announce a FREE Workshop designed specifically for educators. OCDE, Cost $20 for materials. Offered 1x each semester (Fall, Spring & Summer) 9-12pm. – Saturday, March 3, 9:00-12pm (closed) – Saturday, May 19, 9:00-12pm FACILITATOR TRAINING Level 1 Training Our 2-day Art for Healing training and certification workshops are designed for Artists, Teachers, Counselors, Therapists, Medical Professionals and others interested in becoming a certified Art for Healing Facilitator. The training will teach various ways in which to facilitate others to process abuse, illness, grief and stress using the language of color and painting. -Saturday & Sunday, March 31st & April 1st, 9:00AM-5:00PM $695 (Application Required)
