Celebrating Creativity at our Gala

Our 2018 Palette of Colors Dinner & Auction Gala is June 2 at the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity in Costa Mesa. Chuck Jones created or brought many well-known cartoon characters to life, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd. This venue will be a great location to “Celebrate Creativity” at our only live fundraising event of the year.

A wonderful Gala evening wouldn’t be complete without great food! This year, we’ve selected 24 Carrots to cater our “Celebrating Creativity” Gala. We didn’t miss the irony – Bugs Bunny, “What’s up Doc?”, 24 Carrots? Who could possibly be a better fit?!

In addition to having a great name, 24 Carrots is top notch in the catering and event business. There’s a reason they’re the exclusive or preferred caterer at more than 45 of Southern California’s most spectacular properties. If you don’t believe us, check out their awards. They’ve been mentioned on Bravo TV and in several Southern California publications.

24 Carrots’ mission is “to create and inspire.” We think it fits perfectly with the event’s theme and Art & Creativity for Healing’s mission.

 

 

We’ve already visited 24 Carrots and sampled their creations. Without giving away everything, take a look at a few of the dishes we sampled!

Great entertainment

The food won’t be the only thing going on at the Gala! We’ll have a silent and live auction, mystery boxes, a wine wall and more. Stroll through the venue with music, hors-d’oeuvres, and a cocktail. Interact with Magic Ian, or have your caricature drawn by a Disney-trained artist.
